Amber Byrley named to Blackburn College Softball Team

Amber Byrley a Senior of Palestine, IL is playing for the Blackburn College Softball team for the 2014 season. Byrley is a Pitcher/1st Base for the team. Head Coach Suzanne Behnken is really excited for this season and has a good feeling about her team. Behnken said “Blackburn softball has returned some great hitters and pitchers from last year. We also have some new talent who will contribute right away to our line-up. We are looking to get into the conference SLIAC tournament this year to give us a shot at the NCAA national tournament.” Behnken had this to say about Byrley:

" Byrley has already proved she is out for a great senior year from her outstanding pitching performances. We are excited to see her take on her new role of getting the job done at the plate as well as in the circle."
