Brian Goodwin, Earns Diploma from Blackburn College

On May 12, 2012, Brian Goodwin, of Chicago, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Blackburn College, Carlinville, IL.

The 111 graduating seniors were addressed by U.S. Senator Dick Durbin.

Founded in 1837, Blackburn College is a four-year, Presbyterian-related, co-educational liberal arts college located between Springfield, IL and St. Louis, MO. The College is one of just seven Work Colleges in the nation, and the only one with a student-managed Work Program. Blackburn combines a rigorous academic program with 11 NCAA Division III athletic teams, more than 30 campus clubs and student organizations, and a beautiful small-town campus. Blackburn's tuition is the lowest of all private, four-year residential colleges in Illinois and among the lowest in the United States.
